Change History
- 2002-02-15-22:24 Upgrade to nfoCentrale.net Styles
- The construction structure styles worked out in early migration to
nfoCentrale.net
are introduced here, as part of wider promotion on behalf of AIIM 2002
activities.
- 2001-12-04-22:21 Adjust to Serve as DMware.info image
collection
- This construction structure is updated to serve as the image collection
for the an independently-mirrored
DMware.info
site.
2001-04-30-22:54 Bring over Hard Hat Logo (orcmid)
- A local version of the Compact Hard Hat Logo
introduced on the anchor site is brought here for mirrored usage independent
of the containing web site.

- 2001-04-30-22:14 Add Construction Structure (orcmid)
- 1. To be consistent with the practice for ODMA and DMA, I added
the construction materials that go on every folder: an
index.htm
and this
construction.htm
.
2. I messed with the clock in Outlook 2000, and then had to change the date
back to accurate PST instead of some Italian time. I was concerned
that I would run into
problems on revision dates on pages, including confusion of VSS. It
all worked out, however.

- 2001-04-27-16:27 Add DMware Logo (orcmid)
- The DMware logo was a trial to create.
1. First, the Visio 2000 version
worked just fine. I could change the capitalization, and I could match
the fonts. I preferred bold face, and I then tightened the kerning a
little, all to my liking.
2. The Save As ... gif feature of Visio 2000 failed to preserve the kerning
in the resulting image. It was frustrating and I couldn't get around
it.
3. So I created a Word 2000 document that I then linked the Visio image
into. I then saved the Word 2000 document as HTML. I found the
GIF that was created, confirmed that it did preserve the exact appearance of
the Vision rendering, and brought it here as the image to use in branding
all DMware pages.
4. I also uploaded this image to http://dmware.aiim.wegov2.com
for use as the portal site logo.
5. The only remaining oddity is that the red color was altered slightly by
the Word 2000 save process. Also, the image was imported into
FrontPage as higher than it really was.
6. I dealt with the false height by opening the GIF in Microsoft Photo
Editor and saving it again. The new GIF, which was still different,
was of the proper pixel dimensions.
7. I haven't addressed the color issue yet, but I believe that is solvable
in Microsoft Photo Editor too.
8. This is a wonderful example of a coherence problem though. I will
remember to include it in my collection.

- 2001-04-27-16-26 Create Initial
DMware/images
mini-Web (orcmid)
- 1. To provide an independent place for images associated with the DMware
development site, separate from parts of the NuovoDoc Centrale host site
that will not mirrored as DMware material.
