What's Not To Love About Seattle?

 {tags: }

YOUR AMAZING NEW JOB is managed so efficiently you find time to volunteer at a local animal shelter where you bond with a Shi Tzu named Miss Tinkles who has canine leukemia and begin inadvertently treating her through positive energy therapy which miraculously cures her and the CDC mass produces the treatment and completely eradicates cancer and the rain stops and 37 rainbows appear over the Space Needle and their refraction power is harnessed as an unlimited fuel source and a certain Yankee comes back to the Mariners for free and takes all the money he’s earned since he left and divides it equally among all the people IN SEATTLE.

nwjobs.com you matter.

Now that transit art has moved to the exterior of the bus, there needs to be something else to catch the rider’s eye.  Seattle Metro has been putting up urban poetry for the riders.  Topping that, I saw this creative transit advertisement above the windows across from me as I traversed Lake Washington last night.  After reading it several times, I pulled out my notebook and copied the text before arriving at my transfer point and the remaining ride home.  Although I don’t have ads on this blog, I figure NWjobs deserves the link love for providing such a provocative invitation.

2007-01-18 Seattle Geek Dinner Cancellation

The Thursday Night Geek Dinner with Jon Udell is cancelled.

There’s a Seattle Podcasting Network Meetup at the same time and this is a far better venue to hobnob with Jon Udell and local-area podcasters and luminaries.

For other Geek Dinner possibilities with Jon, check his blog
