Have a summary description that can be used as the home-page or fact sheet on ODMref 1.0 and what is happening with it.

Have a simple announcement that the activity is commencing. Place it on the SourceForge ActiveODMA area as well as on the ODMA Interoperability Exchange. Discuss it on Professor von Clueless also. Let Betsy Fanning and others know directly.

Make clear what will be next and when that will be available. The engagement activity should be deepened enough to be confident in when that will occur and how it will become visible.

2005-04-06: Create Announcement Folio as part of ODMref 1.0 Plan Update. Have a job jar and diary for capturing work-item details in advance of the scheduled activity (currently 2005-04-13).
